Foreclosure

An e-mail warning Douglas County school officials of expected massive foreclosure evictions next month that could affect their students turned out to be an overstatement.

While well-intentioned, the e-mail sent last week by the district’s liaison for homeless students under the subject line “in order to be best prepared” appears to be based on a misinterpretation of remarks made by a county housing official.
