Fed: Colorado region’s economy grows modestly with consumer spending uptick

The economy in Colorado and neighboring states “continued to grow modestly in November” with a slight increase in consumer spending, the U.S. Federal Reserve reported Wednesday in its latest “Beige Book” survey of the region’s business executives and economists.

Castle Rock is definitely seeing economic recovery, Deputy Town Manager Fritz Sprague told the town council at its June 18 meeting.
Sprague said staff is having to revise numbers in the town’s three-year plan because of an increase in both building permit numbers and sales tax revenue.
